2014 JAMB UTME Result [PPT] Is Out – How To Check!


JAMB UTME result 2014 is out on jamb result-checker located at jamb.org.ng/unifiedtme4. Candidates who took part in the 2014 UTME can check their results online with their scratch card.
Information regarding JAMB Cut-off mark and the 2014 Cut-off marks for schools are not available yet. What you can do as of now is to check the UTME cut-off marks used last year and the Post-UTME cut-off marks set by institutions for 2013.

Step 1. Candidates who wrote the 2013 UTME examination and want to check their result are to visit 
             the JAMB official portal at http://www.jamb.org.ng/Unifiedtme3/
Step 2. Now on the UTME Result-checker page that appears, Enter your
  • Your PIN.
  • Your Serial Number or Registration Number.
Step 3. Click on SUBMIT, your JAMB utme 2014 RESULT would be displayed to you.
Step 4. Print out your JAMB UTME Result

Change of course and institution form for 2014 will be released soon by JAMB. Thereafter, you can start buying scratch card and change institutions and courses you no longer want. This may be due to low scores or mistakes made while filling your form.

MOBIL NIGERIA UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS 2009/2010 LIST OF SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES

MOBIL NIGERIA SCHOLARSHIPS 2009/2010
Since 1998, the NNPC/MPN joint venture has made provision to award 500 scholarships annually.
# About 60% of those are for core disciplines in Engineering and Geosciences, and the rest are for other professional courses.
# Fifty percent of MPN's Scholarship Awards go to indigenes of the operational communities and the rest of Akwa Ibom State ( 75 goes to the operational communities while 175 to goes the other communities in the state), twelve percent to Bonny and the rest of Rivers State (50 goes to Bonny and 10 to the other communities in the state), ten percent (50) of the awards is given to the best candidates and twenty eight percent of the total awards (140) goes to other states including FCT based on merit and fair geographical spread.

As part of its support to educational development and human capacity building, Mobil Producing Nigeria, operator of NNPC/MPN Joint Venture awards annual scholarships to qualified students in Nigerian Universities.

Applications for NNPC/MPN Undergraduate National Scholarship Awards are based on the following criteria:

GEOGRAPHICAL COVERAGE FOR MOBIL SCHOLARSHIP 2009/2010

Awards will be made to qualified and suitable students from every state of the Federation including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

DISCIPLINES

Applications in the following list of approved disciplines will be considered:

4. Electrical/Electronics Engineering

5. Civil Engineering

6. Geology/Geophysics

ELIGIBILITY

1. Candidates must be holders of the SSCE or its equivalent with at least six subjects passed at a sitting with a minimum of 5 Distinctions.
2. Applicants must be registered full-time undergraduates in their 1st or 2nd year of study in any Nigerian University.
3. Students who are currently on similar scholarship awards from other oil and gas companies need not apply.
4. Dependants of employees of Mobil Producing Nigeria, Mobil Oil Nigeria plc and Esso Exploration and Production Nigeria Limited are not eligible for this scholarship.

National Scheme: (Ref: NSAS)

The National Scholarship Award Scheme is open to all qualified first year undergraduate in any tertiary institution in Nigeria.

MTN Nigeria Foundation Science & Technology Scholarship scheme

MTN Nigeria Foundation Science & Technology Scholarship scheme
The MTN Nigeria Foundation will provide financial support to 500 eligible Science & Technology students in accredited education public universities, polytechnics and colleges of education across the six geo-political zones in Nigeria which will cover tuition, book allowance and stipend (pocket allowance). The scholarship award is N200,000.00 (Two hundred Thousand Naira only per student per academic session and will be paid at the beginning of the 2009/2010 academic session. The scholarships will be awarded to 200 level/2nd year full time students in universities, polytechnics and colleges of education.

The scholarships may be renewable provided recipients maintain a minimum CGPA of 3,5 or its equivalent (second class upper/upper credit.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES
The MTN Foundation seeks to attract high calibre full time students into the science and technology sector. The scholarship is intended to provide assistance to those students who might otherwise be unable to fulfill their educational financial obligations and to reward and recognize superior academic performance.
